Invoicing in MyFixio: invoices for every country and Veri*Factu electronic invoicing in Spain

You can now issue legal invoices from MyFixio in any country: customer and supplier invoices, credit notes, draft and posted states, and payments. Spain also gets Veri*Factu e-invoicing, and the other countries with mandatory e-invoicing will follow one by one.

Invoicing was one of the most requested features by the repair shops using MyFixio, and it is finally here. Starting today you can turn any point-of-sale sale, quoted repair or free-form line into a numbered legal invoice, manage the invoices your suppliers send you as well, and, in Spain, comply with the new Veri*Factu electronic invoicing rules. We built it around a clear idea: basic invoicing should work the same across the 44 countries and states where MyFixio operates, while each country's specific tax layer switches on as we implement it, starting with Spain.

What invoicing includes

1

Customer invoices

Issue them from a POS receipt, from a repair with an approved quote, or by hand with free lines. Each invoice gets its sequential series number, with no gaps and an annual reset.

2

Draft and posted

Work on the invoice as a draft as many times as you like; once you confirm it, it is posted, gets its number, and can no longer be edited, as a legal document requires. To fix a mistake, you issue a credit note.

3

Credit notes and payments

Credit notes have their own series and negative amounts, linked to the original invoice. And you can register the payment of each invoice, with its PAID ribbon and the amount due always in sight.

4

Supplier invoices with AI

Upload your supplier's invoice PDF and an assistant reads it: it detects the supplier, extracts the lines with references and serial numbers, and on registering it generates the stock entry automatically.

All of this invoicing is available today in every country and state where MyFixio works, independent of local tax rules. Series numbering, tax calculation from your setup, a PDF with your logo and details, sending by email or WhatsApp, a full audit trail per document, and a list that separates invoices from credit notes and flags overdue ones in red. It is a comfortable workflow, inspired by the best invoice editors on the market, so issuing an invoice takes seconds.

The big news for Spain is Veri*Factu electronic invoicing. The regulation implementing the anti-fraud law requires invoicing systems to generate a tamper-proof record of each invoice and make it available to the Tax Agency: it becomes mandatory for companies on 1 January 2027 and for the self-employed on 1 July 2027. MyFixio is ready: every invoice and every receipt generates its record with a chained hash, a verification QR code and the VERI*FACTU legend, ready to be sent to the AEAT.

Veri*Factu in Spain at a glance

1

Certificate in an encrypted vault

You upload your digital certificate (FNMT) once and it is stored encrypted. It can never be downloaded again: it is only used, in server memory, to sign the submissions.

2

Fiscal QR on every document

Invoices and receipts carry the Tax Agency validation QR code and the VERI*FACTU legend, both in the PDF and on the thermal receipt.

3

Test and production environments

You can validate everything against the AEAT test environment before issuing for real, and switch to production whenever you want.

4

Switched on separately

Electronic invoicing is an independent toggle, off by default: normal invoicing works right away, and you enable Veri*Factu only when you need it.

Your digital certificate is the most sensitive asset we hold, and we treat it as such: it is stored with bank-grade encryption, can never be downloaded or leave our servers, and every use is logged. If someone stole a copy of the database, what they got would be useless.

What about the other countries? Normal invoicing already works in all of them, but mandatory e-invoicing differs in each: Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Italy and all of Latin America have their own systems and certificates. Our roadmap is clear: we will add each country that requires e-invoicing, one by one, with its approved system, just as we did with Spain. The architecture is already built for it, so adding a new country does not change how you work: when yours arrives, it will simply switch on.
