Sales Quotes and Delivery Notes: The Full Sales Chain in MyFixio
Up to now you could only raise an Invoice. Now you can send a Quote before the sale, have the customer approve it with no phone calls or paperwork, and issue a Delivery note that pulls real stock — straight through to a one-click Invoice.
Invoicing already let you turn a sale into a proper legal Invoice, but the piece before that was missing: quoting before you sell, and handing goods over with a Delivery note, without touching the fiscal side just yet. That's sorted now. The sales Quote and the sales Delivery note round off the sales chain — Quote → Delivery note → Invoice — built to the same standard as the Invoice you already use: an Odoo-style editor, email and WhatsApp sending, a PDF with your logo, and a chatter that keeps the full history of every document.
What's included in the sales Quote
No-login approval
A public link lets the customer approve or reject the Quote without setting up an account — the same approach already used for repair Quote approval.
Automatic expiry
Pick the validity period (15/30/60/90 days); once it runs out with no reply, the Quote goes to expired on its own.
One-click conversion
Once it's accepted, convert it straight into an Invoice or a Delivery note without retyping a single line.
The sales Delivery note is the document that actually shifts stock — it deducts inventory line by line, claims serialised units atomically so two sales never end up fighting over the same unit, and if the stock isn't there, it doesn't number or touch a thing.
