User Roles

Permissions and access by user type

MyFixio has three user roles. Each role determines which sections and actions the team member can access. Roles are configured from Settings → Team.

Administrator

  • Full access to the system
  • Manage team and users
  • View and edit settings
  • Access plans and billing
  • View all reports
  • Delete any record

Technician

  • Manage repairs
  • Update statuses and jobs
  • Upload photos by stage
  • Create and send quotes
  • Record used parts
  • View repair history

Front desk

  • Create customers and devices
  • Register new repair
  • Manage deliveries and signatures
  • View repair status
  • Manage messages
  • View but not edit settings

How to assign roles

Roles are configured from the Clerk panel. Go to Settings → Team, select the user and assign the role in Public Metadata: { "role": "admin" } for administrator, { "role": "tecnico" } for technician or { "role": "recepcion" } for front desk.
