Warehouses and Locations
Organise where each device is physically located
The warehouse system lets you know at all times where each device is: which warehouse, zone, shelving unit, shelf and slot. Ideal when you're managing many devices at once.
Create warehouses
Add one or more warehouses (e.g. shop and storage room), each with its own code, and mark which one is the main one.
Define zones
Within each warehouse, create zones with whatever name and colour you like (e.g. Front desk, Workshop, Repaired) — it isn't a fixed palette, you choose the exact colour.
Add shelving and shelves
Each shelving unit belongs to a zone and has several shelves; each shelf carries a size category (from XS-mobile phones to XXL-large equipment) and its number of slots, so every device has an exact place.
Assign and locate
From the repair record (or when registering the device) you assign its exact physical location. Generate QR labels for each location and use the map and global search to find any device instantly.
Use the global location search to find a free slot of the right size when storing a new device.
Automatic zone suggestion
When assigning the location, MyFixio suggests the zones whose name matches the repair's current status (e.g. it suggests «Workshop» if it's in repair) — a shortcut, not a genuine automatic assignment.
Real-time occupancy
The warehouse list shows total, occupied and free slots with a colour-coded progress bar (green → amber → red as it fills up), plus occupancy charts by warehouse and by size category.
Who, when and from where
Every time a repair's physical location is assigned or changed, it's logged who did it and when, with a movement history — different from the status change history.
