Talk to your customers on WhatsApp without leaving the repair record

In addition to email, you can communicate with your customers on WhatsApp: it tends to be read within minutes, compared to the hours (or spam) of email. Each organisation links its own number, and conversations are saved and organised by repair, with delivery and read receipts. Only appears in the menu if your organisation has WhatsApp enabled.

1

Accept the responsible-use notice

Before you can connect anything, you need to accept a mandatory notice about the risk of the number being blocked by WhatsApp.

2

Connect your number

In Settings → WhatsApp, click Connect and scan the QR code with the shop phone's WhatsApp (Settings → Linked devices) — just like WhatsApp Web, no install or credentials needed.

3

Chat by repair

From a repair record, you open the customer's WhatsApp thread and type just like in any chat, emojis included.

4

Send documents

Share the intake receipt, the quote or the delivery sheet directly over WhatsApp in a single tap. You can choose email or WhatsApp as the default preselected channel.

5

Delivered and read

You'll see whether each message was sent, delivered and read, just like in the WhatsApp app.

Real risk of being blocked — not reversible

WhatsApp can ban the number if it detects misuse: no bulk messages or campaigns, don't message people who aren't expecting to hear from you or haven't given you their number, don't send the same message repeatedly to lots of contacts, and no spam. Use a number dedicated solely to the shop — if WhatsApp blocks it, it can't be recovered.

Global WhatsApp inbox

In WhatsApp Messages you see all conversations, with the same behaviour as the Email inbox: mark as priority, filter «Unread», and delete an entire conversation (irreversible) from each row's menu.

Default channel for documents

With WhatsApp connected, you choose whether the intake receipt, the quote and the delivery sheet are preselected to be sent by email or by WhatsApp.

Sending over WhatsApp depends on the linked phone having a connection. If you sign out of linked devices from the phone, you'll need to scan the QR code again.
