Repair Tabs
All the information for a repair in one place
When you open a repair's detail, you'll find several tabs that organise the whole process, plus a Documents section that's always visible, whichever tab you have open.
1 · Diagnosis and Work
- Technical diagnosis: free text with no character limit; the «Save» button is only enabled if you've changed something.
- Diagnosis and repair photos: uploaded right here, up to 10 per stage. Uploading the first diagnosis photo automatically moves the status to «In Diagnosis».
- Internal notes: private, no character limit, with an audit trail for every edit or deletion. Everything locks once it reaches «Delivered».

2 · Photos
- A read-only gallery grouped by stage: Check-in, Diagnosis, Repair, and Delivery.
- Check-in photos are captured when the device is registered; Diagnosis and Repair photos, from the previous tab.
- You can delete photos from here, with confirmation, while the repair is in an active status.

3 · Quote
- Here you see the summary and record the customer's in-person approval. Creating or editing services and parts is done in «Edit full quote», a separate page.
- When sent by email, the customer gets a public link (no sign-in required) to approve or reject, valid for 7 days.
- Approving it — by email or in person — automatically moves the repair to «In Repair».

Create quote4 · History
- A chronological record of every status change: who made it, the exact date and time, and an optional note.
- We already covered this in detail in the Repair Statuses topic.
- Complete traceability for audits or customer claims.
5 · Communications
- A genuine email thread with the customer, not a generic chat: no attachments or templates, just free text.
- The customer's replies sync automatically every 60 seconds, or manually with «Sync».
- Messages can't be deleted, for transparency — it's a design choice, not a technical limitation.

6 · WhatsApp
- Only appears if your installation has WhatsApp enabled and your organisation has it connected; if not, it shows a notice with direct access to settings.
- Chat with WhatsApp-style delivery receipts (sent, delivered, read) and its own emoji picker.
- The thread is linked to the customer's phone number, so it may show messages from another of their repairs if they share the same number.

Set up WhatsAppDocuments: always visible, not a tab
Below the tabs, whichever one you have open, there's a fixed section with the Check-in Receipt, the Technical Report, and the Delivery Sign-off. Each one can be downloaded, resent over WhatsApp (if connected), or uploaded signed on paper.
